Sandy Alomar Jr. is a highly probable candidate for the managerial vacuum Boston Red Sox needs to fill for a long future. His record as a player has been commendable. Fans support him largely because of his tenacity and match-winning capabilities. He has played in 20 seasons and has been involved in teams under different managers. He has inevitably gained experience over these years, and also comes from a family with a strong baseball background. Although he has not been a manager before, he feels confident about his capability to help baseball teams and organizations in the MLB. Sandy Alomar has also been a major figure in MLB, and has appeared in the electronic media with refreshingly enlightening views in the past.
Alomar has been a part of a family that is well known to American baseball fans. His father had been a prominent name in the baseball circuit as a player, and his elder brother was inducted into the Hall of Fame recently. Moreover, he himself has been an equally good contributor to the game to be able to hold candle to the rest of his family. When invited for the interview for the position, he claimed to have added valuable experience to his repertoire while playing under the successful managers. Theo Epstein, who is currently the baseball operations president will interview him this week in November 2011. Alomar has been contemplating coaching and team management since 2001, when he was already a well-known player amongst MLB fans. Alomar feels the Red Sox are a great powerhouse, and in spite of the recent injuries, the team had a great chance in the upcoming matches.
