It was an impossible situation to believe that Brett Favre would be separated from football.
Brett Favre and NFL association

Favre mentioned to WDAM-TV in Hattiesburg that he was planning to take up a new career.
His options
During the interview, the former Minnesota Vikings player mentioned his choice of taking up coaching or becoming an NFL television analyst. However, he clearly stated that his chosen career would not materialize in the immediate future. During the interview, Favre said that full-time coaching at any level was a choice that he did not seem to happen in the short-term. In addition, he mentioned spending time with his children and will take the future as it evolves until the time he is bored of doing what he is doing. Favre was interviewed during a football camp in Oak Grove High School. He mentioned that he had done a lot of traveling during the past few months and was following Southern Miss baseball. Player-coach possibility
With no plans to taking up a full-time coaching career or a TV analyst, the speculation that Favre will opt to work as a player-coach is doing the rounds. Bus Cook who is the agent for the team that drafted the Cam Newton is also working with Brett Favre and could use the experience of a professional to mentor. However, many sports analyst doubt the situation from becoming a reality. The question as to the advantage Favre would bring to Carolina Panthers player Newton. His complicated offense strategies would be difficult for veterans to play while being completely incomprehensible to a rookie.
Irrespective of whether Favre opts to play as a player-coach or try a career in coaching or analysis, the fact is that the former NFL player and the game remain inseparable.
